Photo Album Support

I'm currenty working on supporting Jasc Photo Album directly via a plug-in. Additionally I want to beef up IPTC/EXIF support. FlickrImportr supports:

- ACDSee 7.0+ (via XML export)
- Photools.com iMatch (via CSV export)
- Embedded IPTC tags; header, comment, keywords

Picassa and Adobe Photo Album are out of the picture, they have closed systems. IRFANView and the rest all just edit IPTC information.

Are there any others that I should take a look at?

Photoshop Album's catalog is stored in a standard Microsoft Access database format... it should be straightforward to extract the metadata (tag, caption, etc.) for each photo from PSA's catalog.

Microsoft Digital Image Suite writes tags and captions in the same way Windows Explorer does when you right click on an image and open the properties dialog.

There is the recommended Windows IPTC Freeware PixVue which integrates into the shell (explorer).
Take a look at pixvue.com ...
More metadata fields from IPTC and/or XMP would be very welcome!

Photoshop Album's catalog is probably the same as Photoshop Elements'.
It is an Access database, but I've looked at it and the IPTC data is held in one binary field.
I can't see how you relate this to the tag names held in a different table.
